Each lottery is identified by a unique alphabetical code, and Bhagyathara carries the code “BT”, followed by its respective draw number. The ticket is priced at ₹50.
This weekly lottery is released in 12 different series, though the specific series may vary over time. A total of 1.08 crore tickets are issued for sale every week, reflecting the strong demand for the Bhagyathara draw across Kerala.
The top reward continues to attract wide participation, with the first prize set at ₹1 crore.

Bhagyathara Lottery Offers 10 Prize Categories: Over 6.5 Lakh Winners Rewarded
Thiruvananthapuram: The Bhagyathara weekly lottery features a total of 10 prize categories, including a consolation prize, making it one of Kerala’s most rewarding lottery draws. The first prize carries a jackpot of ₹1 crore, followed by ₹30 lakh for the second prize and ₹5 lakh for the third prize.
According to the Kerala State Lottery Department, a total of 6,54,505 prizes have been distributed to winners under the Bhagyathara scheme.
As per the rules, 12% of the first to third prize amounts is deducted and paid to the lottery agents who sold the winning tickets. For prizes in the 5th to 8th categories, along with the consolation prize, agents receive a 10% commission, which is provided from the government-allocated fund.
The Lottery Department has also made all required claim forms available for download through its official channels.
